The Teutopolis Lady Shoes won their first round game at the Salem Thanksgiving Tournament, downing Centralia 56-16 Friday night.
The Shoes led 11-2 after one quarter and 27-6 at halftime, extending the advantage to 40-9 after three quarters.
Cierra Thompson led the Teutopolis attack with 15 points while Madeline Hartke added 12. Also for Teutopolis: A. Hartke 6, Gebben 6, Hardiek 5, Repking 5, Bueker 2, Giles 2, Schmidt 2, Schumacher 1.
In the other Friday night contest, Salem won over Carlyle 50-39.
