Dieterich Wins Its Own Eighth-Grade Boys Basketball Tourney

Dieterich claimed the championship of its own Eighth-Grade Boys Basketball Tournament Thursday evening.

Dieterich defeated Sigel St. Michael 40-17 to win the title. In the third-place game, Newton St. Thomas downed Huntsville 37-17.

 

At Beecher City

Stewardson-Strasburg claimed two wins over Beecher City. Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade contest, 30-21. Adam Burton tallied 14 for the winners. Mason Stewart led Beecher City with 10.

In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras won 51-6. Tanner Clark tallied 12 for the winners. Beecher City was led by Stewart with four.
