EPD Basketball Registration is Underway

Effingham Park District basketball is right around the corner. The office will be open Saturday, October 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for basketball registration. The office also is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to sign up ahead of time.

To participate, players need to be signed up by Monday, October 21 to guarantee a spot on a team and avoid the $10 late fee. The grades, fees and starting dates are:

First-Second Grade Boys -- Tuesday evenings beginning November 5, $25 in-district, $57 out-of-district

Third-Fourth Grade Boys -- Thursday evenings beginning November 7, $30 in-district, $62 out-of-district

Fifth-Sixth Grade Boys -- Saturday mornings beginning November 9, $30 in-district, $62 out-of-district

First-Second Grade Girls -- Tuesday evenings beginning November 5, $25 in-district, $57 out-of-district

Third-Fourth Grade Girls -- Thursday evenings beginning November 7, $30 in-districft, $62 out-of-district

Fifth-Sixth Grade Girls -- Saturday mornings beginning November 9, $30 in-district, $62 out-of-district

Seventh-Eighth Grade Co-Ed -- Saturday mornings beginning December 7, $30 in-district, $62 out-of-district

The basketball program will use parent volunteer coaches. Parents who volunteer to coach a team will be exempt from basketball league fees. Let the office know if interested.
