Heat, Spurs Battle For NBA Title

(Miami, FL) -- The Heat host the Spurs in Game Seven of the NBA Finals tonight. Miami defeated San Antonio 103-100 in overtime of Game Six on Tuesday to force the decisive final game. The Heat are trying for back-to-back titles while the Spurs are looking for their first since 2007.

 

Sloan Returning To Jazz As An Adviser

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Hall of Fame coach Jerry Sloan is returning to the Jazz as a senior adviser. Sloan guided the Jazz to 19 playoff appearances in 23 years as head coach.  He resigned midway through the 2011 season. Under his new role, Sloan will conduct player evaluations, perform limited pro and regional scouting and occasionally observe practices.
