Spurs Outgun Heat In Game Five

(San Antonio, TX) -- Gregg Popovich moved Manu Ginobili into the starting lineup and he answered with a vintage performance as the San Antonio Spurs smoked the Miami Heat, 114-104, in Game Five of the NBA Finals from the AT&T Center. Popovich says Ginobili came through for them in a big way.

San Antonio takes a three games to two lead in the best-of-seven set as the series shifts back to Miami for Tuesday's Game Six.  Ginobili finished well above his series averages with 24 points and 10 assists. Danny Green hit 6-of-10 from three on his way to 24 points. Green broke Ray Allen's record of most three-pointers in an NBA Finals series of 22. He now has 25. On bum hamstring Tony Parker scored a game-high 26 points with five assists.  LeBron James and Dwyane Wade each scored 25 points in the loss.  James added eight assists, six rebounds and four steals, while Wade tallied 10 helpers. Ray Allen kicked in 21 points off the bench.
