Jason Kidd To Be Nets Head Coach

(Brooklyn, NY) -- Jason Kidd is the next head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.  A press conference will be held today. Kidd retired recently after spending this season with the Knicks. Kidd played with the Nets for five full seasons before being traded to the Mavericks during his sixth year with the team. He helped the Nets, then located in New Jersey, get to the NBA Finals twice, losing both times.

 

Spurs' Parker Day-To-Day With Hammy

(San Antonio, TX) -- Spurs guard Tony Parker is listed as day-to-day with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.  He had an MRI Wednesday after suffering the injury during Tuesday's Game Three win over the Heat in the NBA Finals  Parker left the game but briefly returned to the court after going to the locker room in the third quarter to get evaluated.
