The Enlow Center at St. Anthony High School was memory-filled Friday night as the St. Anthony Bulldogs' 1,500 boys basketball victories were celebrated.

All of the St. Anthony coaches since the 1940s were remembered. Some of the past coaches who are still with us had other commitments or were away from the area, but four former coaches were on hand.

They included Les Stevens, Chris Kusnerick, Mike Wilson and Ron Niebrugge. They joined with current Bulldogs coach Cody Rincker as the players who were on hand from the 1950s to the present were asked to come out onto the floor a decade at a time.

The celebration culminated with the presentation of a plaque noting the 1,500 wins by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.
