Effingham 65, Thornton Fractional North 38 (Effingham shot 52% from the field in posting their first win of the day. The Hearts led 11-5 after one quarter, 29-16 at halftime, and 42-20 after three quarters before outscoring the Meteors 23-18 in the final quarter; Garrett Wolfe had a huge day, scoring 30 points for the Hearts; Effingham made nine threes in 17 tries)
