CHARLESTON -- Teutopolis and Charleston split junior high girls basketball victories Thursday.

T-town was a 28-9 winner in the seventh-grade game. T-town held a 19-5 opening half lead.

Anna Probst tallied 14 for the winners while Malea Helmink added nine. The Shoes improved to 2-1.

In eighth-grade play, Charleston was a 31-28 winner. Charleston got off to a 13-3 opening quarter lead and led 21-15 at halftime.

Chloe Probst had 11 points for the Shoes while Anna Probst added 10. T-town dropped to 0-2.
