Annual High School All-Star Boys Basketball Game Moved to St. Anthony

The 28th Annual Central Illinois Boys All-Star Basketball game, featuring senior basketball players from the National Trail Conference vs. the Lincoln Prairie Conference, has been moved from Cumberland High School to Effingham St. Anthony HIgh School this year.

The game will be played Sunday, April 18. There will be a three-point contest at 6:05 p.m. and tip-off for the All-Star game will be at 6:30 p.m.

Members of the National Trail Conference team include Altamont's Derick Budde, Kaden Eirhart, Jared Ruffner and Brennyn Abendroth, Dieterich's Derek Kuhl and Jack Westendorf, Neoga's Adam Fearday, North Clay's Ethan Bible, St. Anthony's Logan Antrim, Kennan Walsh, Grant Nuxoll and Seth Hotze, St. Elm/Brownstown's Jace McWhorter and Ean Forbus and South Central's Collin Miller.

Coaches for the NTC squad are North Clay's Josh Zink and St. Anthony's Cody Rincker.

Members of the Lincoln Prairie Conference are Cumberland's Ross Hemmen, Wyatt Napier and Brennyn Cutts, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's Jameson Rocke, Wyatt Romine and Austin Plank, Arcola's Kevin Garza, Cerro Gordo-Bement's Jesse Quick and JD Benson, Okaw Valley's Eli Hagerman, Sangamon Valley's Cameron Calhoun, Tri-County's CJ Eakle and Cole McClain and Villa Grove/Heritage's Jake Eversole and Logan Nohren.

The coach of the LOVC team will be Brad McGill of Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.

The Central Illinois All-Star Director is Justin Roedl of Cumberland High School. Officials for the event will be Jared Smith, Troy Krumreich and Eric Parker.
