EHS Boys Ranked Ninth In Latest AP Poll

The Effingham High School boys basketball squad moved up to ninth in the latest Class 3A state basketball poll by The Associated Press.

The Hearts are 14-1 on the season, and have 15 points.. Hillcrest leads Class 3A garnering six first place votes. Hillcrest is 10-0 on the season with 69 points.

In the Class 2A poll, Teutopolis was in the others receiving votes category with one vote.

In Class 1A, Effingham St. Anthony garnered five votes and is in the others receiving votes.

In the girls polls, Neoga received three votes and Altamont one in Class 1A and are both in the others receiving votes category.
