The Hearts also had just nine turnovers to 19 for Mahomet-Seymour and Effingham had a 26-25 edge on the boards, but Mahomet-Seymour prevailed.

Effingham was 22 of 59 overall from the field while Mahomet-Seymour made 24 of 43; the Hearts were 14 of 17 from the line to 6 of 9 for Mahomet-Seymour; Parker Wolfe had a huge game for Effingham, scoring 33 points on 13 of 28 shooting, plus 7 of 8 from the line and eight rebounds; Garrett Wolfe was also in double figures, scoring 10 points; Nate Thompson was again Job One for Mahomet-Seymour, holding Thompson to nine points after 11 in the earlier game, going 4 of 15 from the field; Dalton Fox scored 7 points and Jacob Stoneburner scored two points while grabbing 10 rebounds; Eli Warren led Mahomet-Seymour with 24 points on 9 of 13 shooting, while Blake Wolters scored 15 points and Braden Finch added 10; the Hearts are now 10-1 heading into action Saturday against Mt.
