St. Anthony Athletes Presented Awards at Banquet

St. Anthony High School athletes were honored at the Winter Athletic Awards Banquet Wednesday evening.

In girls basketball, Makayla Walsh earned the Most Valuable Player award. The Most Improved award went to Kate Richards. Melissa Bushur earned the Free Throw Percentage award while Megan Nuxoll garnered the Most Rebounds award. Lexie Niebrugge captured the Most Assists award.

In boys basketball, John Goeckner was named the Most Valuable Player and also earned the Best Defensive Player award. The Attitude/Team Player award went to Patrick Martelli. Jacob Schuette joined the 1,000 point scorers with a career total of 1,025.

In cheerleading, Paige Oltman was the Team Captain.

In bowling, Neil Ritz garnered the High Average award for boys while Kassy Dammerman won the award for girls.

Captain awards for the Bellettes went to Christa Kabbes, Michaela Zumbahlen and Briana Siemer.
