Dieterich Claims Boys Win Over Ramsey

DIETERICH -- Dieterich High School put together a 23-7 opening quarter run and never looked back in a 68-35 non-conference boys basketball win over Ramsey Thursday.

The Movin' Maroons' Collin Hartke and Cole Niebrugge provided the scoring run with nine and eight points respectively in that opening quarter.

Ramsey came back with a slight 15-14 second quarter edge but Dieterich was in charge the rest of the way, outscoring the Rams 29-13 in the second half.

Hartke and Niebrugge led the way for the Maroons with 19 points each. Pete Britton was on the verge of double figures with nine.
