Lebron James' I Promise School Class Gets Free Tuition

The inaugural class of Lebron James’ I Promise School will be given free college tuition at Kent State University. All 193 students at the school in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio, who are high school juniors, are getting the four years of tuition, along with one year of free room and board. The students broke into cheers when they were surprised with the news while visiting the Kent State campus.

 

Vanessa Bryant Changes Name Of Charity

Vanessa Bryant has decided to change the name of Kobe Bryant's charity to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation in honor of their daughter Gianna Bryant.  Vanessa said in a statement that the foundation's goal of helping young people through sports “remains the same -- and stronger than ever.”
