Pairings Released for 69th Annual Salem Tournament

Pairings were released Monday for the 69th Annual Salem Invitational Tournament. The tournament will take place in B.E. Gum Gymnasium at Salem High School.

The tournament will run from Wednesday through Saturday, January 22-25. 

The Wednesday night games will feature East St. Louis and Highland at 6:30pm and Salem and Carbondale at 8pm.

The Thursday night games will feature Mt. Vernon and Effingham at 6:30pm and Teutopolis and Thornton Fractional North at 8pm.

The Wednesday winners will play Friday at 6:30pm and the Thursday winners will play Friday at 8pm.

The Wednesday losers will play Saturday at 11:30am and the Thursday losers will play Saturday at 1pm.

The 11:30am and 1pm Saturday losers will play Saturday at 4pm for seventh place.

The 11:30am and 1pm Saturday winners will play Saturday at 7pm for the consolation championship.

The Friday losers will play Saturday at 5:30pm for third place.

The Friday winners will play Saturday at 8:30pm for the tournament championship.
