Bulldogs Improve to 6-0 w/Win Over Sullivan

The St. Anthony Bulldogs improved to 6-0 with a convincing 69-35 victory over the Sullivan Redskins Friday night.

St. Anthony scored the first 11 points of the game and never looked back. The Bulldogs were up 20-7 after one quarter, 39-15 at halftime, and 55-23 after three periods.

The Bulldogs shot a sizzling 61% from the field, making 28 of 46 shots, including 6 of 11 threes. St. Anthony made 7 of 11 free throws, turned the ball over just 10 times, and grabbed 30 rebounds.

Sullivan made 13 of 37 shots, 35%, including 7 of 19 threes. The Redskins shot just two foul shots and missed them both. Sullivan turned the ball over 16 times and pulled down just 12 rebounds.

Jaccob Dust posted a double-double for the Bulldogs; 16 points and 11 rebounds, and went 7 of 7 from the field. Jack Hoene also scored 16 points on six of nine shooting. Logan Antrim scored 14 points on five of eight shooting. Also for the Bulldogs: Aaron Webb 6, Kaden Fearday 6, Connor Walk 6, Kennan Walsh 3, and Jack Elder 2.

Ian Plank led Sullivan with 14 points including four threes.

While St. Anthony is now 6-0, Sullivan is 0-3 on the campaign.

St. Anthony won the JV game, 59-21. Seth Hotze with 12 points, and Grant Nuxoll and Eli Moore with 10 each, paced the JV Bulldogs.
