Marshall captured the seventh-grade game, 35-28. Jasper County held a 12-4 opening quarter lead and led 21-15 at halftime. Marshall then came back with with a 10-5 third period run to pull within 26-25. Marshall then had a 10-2 final period.
Lain Burgener led Jasper County (2-1) with 12 points.
In the eighth-grade contest, Jasper County pulled out a double overtime win over Marshall, 43-39.
Jasper County held a 17-13 halftime lead and led 26-24 going into the final quarter. Marshall came back to tie the score at 31-31 sending the game into the first overtime where both teams scored four. Jasper County then had an 8-4 second overtime run for the victory.
Three players hit double figures for Jasper County. Parker Wolf scored 14, Isaac Flowers 11 and Caden Nichols 10.

At Central City
The North Clay (Louisville) boys and girls competed in the Central City Eighth-Grade Shootouts Saturady.
The girls picked up a 47-25 victory. North Clay ran off to a 21-0 opening quarter lead.
Camdyn Taqppendorf scored 23 for the winners while Alexis VanDyke added 11.
In boys action, Central City claimed a 47-33 victory. Central City zipped out to a 21-2 opening quarter lead and led 39-9 at halftime.
Zimdars led North Clay with nine points while Kuenstler added eight.

Teutopolis claimed a 55-42 victory over Effingham in a B contest Saturday.
Scoring for the Mustangs were Lewis 14, K. Larimore 7, Pals 7, Nichols 6, Rose 3, Schafer 2, Ellis 2.
Scoring for Teutopolis were Bloemer 13, Tabbert 10, Habing 10, Davidson 8, Jansen 5, Hoelscher 4, Kreke 3, Thoele 2.
The eighth-grade Mustangs fell to Champaign Jefferson, 45-28.
