LOUISVILLE -- Effingham Sacred Heart and North Clay (Louisville) each picked up a victory in boys junior high basketball action Monday.

 

The Shamrocks edged North Clay 43-41 in the seventh-grade contest. Leading Sacred Heart was Tyler Sparks with 15.

North Clay was led by Landon Groves with 22.

In the eighth-grade game, North Clay tallied a 62-45 win over Sacred Heart.

Weidner and Kuenstler scored 15 each for North Clay while Zimdars added 14.

Sacred Heart was led by Noah Biggs with 22.
