NEOGA -- Neoga High School edged Beecher City 51-49 in National Trail Conference boys basketball competition Saturday.

Neoga edged out to a 10-9 opening quarter lead but Beecher City came roaring back to lead 24-18 at halftime. Neoga had a 14-10 third period run and outscored the Eagles 19-15 in the fnal period.

Neoga was led in scoring by Jake Baker with 17, Wyatt Krikie with 11 and Michael Baker with 10. Beecher City was led by Brady Barnes with 19 and Doug Kruger with 11. The Eagles drop to 3-3 in the conference, 11-13 overall. Neoga improves to 5-4 in the conference, 10-15 overall.

Okaw Valley claimed a 66-41 non-conference victory over Windsor Saturday evening to improve to 16-11.

Okaw Valley stepped out to a 22-8 opening quarter lead and never looked back. Sparks tallied 22 while Hagerman had 13 and Craig 12.

Windsor was led by Alex Allen with 12, Hayden Cole with 10 and Trey Leasher with 10.
