Rockets' Chris Paul Fined $35,000

Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul was fined $35,000 by the NBA for making contact with an official in the closing seconds of their Game 1 loss to the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semis.

Spurs', Popovich In Talks

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich says he’s in talks with the team to return for a 24th season. Popovich’s most recent contract expired at the end of this season and with 1,245 wins, he ranks third behind Don Nelson and Lenny Wilkens for most coaching victories in NBA history.

Thunder Keeps Coach Donovan

Despite being ousted in the first round of the playoffs again, the Oklahoma City Thunder say they plan to keep coach Billy Donovan for a fifth year. The Thunder haven’t advanced past the first round since Kevin Durant left for Golden State in free agency after the 2015-16 season.
