Magic Johnson announced his resignation as the Los Angeles Lakers’ president of basketball operations. Magic said he was stepping away because he was happier before he took the job.


Mavericks' Nowitzki Announces Retirement

Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki announced his retirement last night after a record 21 seasons with the same team. Nowitzki scored 30 points in his final home game and will finish his career on the road tonight against San Antonio.


Wade Leads Miami Past Philadelphia

Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 30 points as Miami beat the Philadelphia 122-99 last night in his final home game for the Heat. Unfortunately for Wade and his teammates, the Heat were eliminated from the playoffs with Detroit's win against Memphis


Warriors' Curry Sprains Foot

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry left last night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a mild right foot sprain. The Warriors won the game 112-103 and say Curry will be ready to go for Game 1 of the playoffs this weekend.
