IBCA All-State Boys, Girls Teams Announced

The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association has handed out its post-season All-State Boys and Girls Basketball Teams.

For the girls, on the Class 3A First Team was Effingham's Carsyn Fearday, a senior, and Charleston's Shae Littleford, a sophomore.

Special Mention went to Effingham senior Abby Weis, Mattoon freshman Mallory Ramage and Taylorville senior Natalie Snyder.

On the Class 2A First Team was Teutopolis High School senior Sadie Bueker. On the Second Team was T-town sophomore Lexie Niebrugge. Third Team honors went to T-town senior Morgan Mette while Special Mention went to T-town junior Claire Bushur.

On the Class 1A Second Team was Brownstown/St. Elmo junior Claire Wilhour.

On the Third Team was St. Anthony senior Claire McHugh.

Special Mention went to Atlamont's Leah Mayhaus and Joanna Schultz.

For the boys, on the Class 3A Second Team was Effingham senior Landon Wolfe. Special Mention went to Taylorville's Jase Bergschneider.

On the Class 2A Second Team were seniors Clint Weber and Dawson Smith of Teutopolis.

Special Mention went to St. Anthony junior Jaccob Dust.

On the Class 2A Second Team was Altamont senior Alek Biggs.
