The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes must enjoy road trips.

The Shoes journeyed more than 100 miles Friday night to Paxton to take on Paxton-Buckley-Loda.  The trip seemed to agree with them as they smashed PBL, 66-27.

Teutopolis took a 20-7 lead after one quarter, pushed the advantage to 35-12 at halftime, and led after three quarters 51-17.

Derek Smith led the Wooden Shoes with 16 points.  Also for the Shoes: Jared Waldhoff and Tyler Windell nine each, Kyle Pruemer eight, Reed Hardiek and Brett Mette six apiece, Rourke Schultz four, and Cody Will, Devin Falbe, Justin Kenter and Ryan Sandschafer two each.
