Teutopolis 58, Cissna Park 53 (the Wooden Shoes came back from 10 down against one of the highest-ranked 1A teams in the state to post the win; T-Town was down 16-9 after one quarter and 34-24 at halftime, before tying the game at 41-41 after three quarters and outscoring Cissna Park 17-12 in the fourth quarter to post the five-point win; Dawson Smith led the way for Teutopolis with 20 points, while Evan Wermert scored 12; also for Teutopolis: Clint Weber 9, Jordan Hardiek 8, Luke Ungrund 5, and Mitch Hardiek 4; Teutopolis is now 23-4 on the season)

Effingham 77, Charleston 45 (Landon Wolfe with 41 points for the Hearts; Parker Wolfe was also in double figures with 12 points; also for Effingham: Cole Marxman and Dalton Greene six each, Tristin Duncan four, Drew Thompson and Nate Thompson three each, Dylan Ritz 2; Effingham led 22-10 after one quarter, 42-20 at halftime, and 60-33 after three quarters before outscoring the Trojans 17-12 in the final quarter; Effingham won the JV game 62-50; for Effingham: Tate Niebrugge 18, Ben Donsbach 16, Tristin Duncan 11, Jacob Briggerman 10, Brayden Pals 4, Jacob Stoneburner 3)

Cumberland 59, Oblong 37 (Cumberland exploded out to a 19-8 lead after one quarter, led 27-18 at halftime, and 41-24 after three quarters before an 18-13 fourth quarter; Zach Wolke led Cumberland with 23 points; also for the Pirates: Myles Gerhardt and Connor Butler 8 each, Brennyn Cutts and Wyatt Napier 6 each, Ross Hemmen and Memphis Waggoner 3 each, and Alex Talley 2)

Altamont 71, Neoga 50 (Altamont trailed 16-15 after one quarter, but led 32-28 at halftime and were up 56-38 after three quarters before outscoring Neoga 15-12 in the fourth quarter to post the 21-point win; for Altamont: Alek Biggs 23, Denver Duckwitz 16, Aiden Jahraus 14, Tony Klitzing 8, Kaden Eirhart 6, and Noah Teasley and Jarod Kollman 2 each; for Neoga: Trevor Roy 17, Levi Peters 15, Chase Banning and Reece Johnson 5 each, Mitchell Cornell 4, Chase Lanham and J.C. Keller 2 each; Altamont is now 16-10 and 5-0 in the NTC)

North Clay 63, Webber Township 24 (for North Clay: Nick Miller 16, Kaden Turner 15, Aleon Rinehart 12; North Clay improved to 20-8 on the season; the Cardinals posted their first 20-win season in 19 years, the 1999-2000 season; North Clay Coach Josh Zink said, "This is a special group of guys that has brought this basketball program back to life; I'm so thrilled for them, their parents, and our community; GO CARDS!"

St. Anthony 55, Dieterich 32 (Dieterich led 10-9 after one quarter, but the Lady Bulldogs were up 20-13 at halftime, and 32-26 after three quarters before outscoring Dieterich 23-6 in the fourth quarter to put the game away; Clare McHugh and Meg Richards shared scoring honors with 13 apiece while Sydney Gibson was also in double figures with 11 points; also for St. Anthony: Shea Kinkelaar 8, Riley Guy 4, and Taylor Beesley, Grace Karolewicz and Elizabeth Kabbes 2 each; for Dieterich: Robards 9, Bierman 7, Vahling 4, Boerngen and K. Bloemer 3 each, Britton and E. Bloemer 2 each, and Meinhart and Johnson 1 each; also for St. Anthony: McHugh and Gibson each 9 rebounds and three assists; Richards 8 rebounds; McHugh 4 steals and 4 blocks; Bulldogs Coach Bart Wiedman said, "We started a little slow offensively in the first quarter, but then hit a good stride; we played a great last 12 minutes of basketball")

Altamont 74, South Central 28 (Altamont was up 15-2 after one quarter, led 36-14 at halftime, and 62-22 after three quarters before outscoring South Central 12-6 in the final quarter; Altamont shot 42% from the field and made 6 of 12 foul shots; for Altamont: Allyson Hardiek 16, Rachel Jackman 13, JoAnna Schultz 12, Leah Mayhaus and Ellie McManaway 8 each, Tinley Mette 7, Brooke Runge 5, Mary Guse and Abby Goeckner 2 each, Taylor Mette 1; for South Central: Laney Webster 16, Smith and Hilmus 5 each, Landreth 2)

Brownstown/St. Elmo 66, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 43 (BSE was up 17-11 after one quarter, 32-24 at halftime and 52-33 after three quarters before outscoring CHBC 12-10 in the fourth quarter; BSE's Claire Wilhour led all scorers with 22 points; also for BSE: Natalie Oberlink 17 with 12 rebounds, Olivia Campbell 15 with 6 rebounds, 4 steals and 6 assists, Audrey Wilhour 7, Elizabeth Johnson 3, and MaKenzie Walk 2; for CHBC: Burch 8, Jaelyn Robertson and Burks 7 each, Morrison 6, Lindsley 5, Bertin and Wojcik 4 each, and Lorton 2; Bobcats Coach Carolyn Wendte said, "Ended our season at 13-15; would've thought the season would have been a little better, but never found the consistent scoring from this team and our size hurt us in some of our games")
