EHS Nabs Frosh/Soph Boys Basketball Wins

Effingham picked up both victories in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action Monday evening.

The Hearts won the freshman game 49-27. Drew Vasquez led the way with 11 points while  Reed Schafer added eight.

In the sophomore game, Effingham won 49-25. The Hearts led 21-16 at halftime and 33-21 going into the final period. Kevin Daugherty tallied 14 and Michael Carie eight for the winners.
