T-town, Altamont, EHS Remain In Basketball Polls

The Teutopolis High School boys basketball squad remained in third place in the Associated Press Class 2A State poll.
The Wooden Shoes stand at 17-3 on the season and have 106 points. Nashville leads the 2A poll with 11 first place votes, a 21-2 record and 142 points. Chicago Leo stands in second with a 14-5 record and 118 points.
In the girls polls, T-town is ninth in the Class 2A poll with a 23-4 record and 26 points. The Shoes dropped from eighth place.
Altamont remained in 10th place in the Class 1A poll with a 22-2 mark and 22 points.
Effingham is in the others receiving votes category in Class 3A. The Hearts will travel to Teutopolis Friday for a matchup. Listen to the game on KJ Country 102.3.
