NTC Tournament Opens Tonight

The National Trail Conference Boys Basketbal Tournament opens with three games tonight and will continue each night through Saturday.

Tonight's games feature Neoga taking on Beecher City at 5 p.m., Brownstown facing South Central at 6:30 and Effingham St. Anthony against Windnsor at 8 p.m.

There will be two games, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and three games Wednesday. The tournament will come to a close Saturday with the seventh-place game at 11:30 a.m., the consolation championship 20 minutes after the completion of that contest, the third place game 20 minutes after the consy championship and the championship at 7:30 p.m.

Monday, January 21

Game 1 – Neoga vs. Beecher City, 5 p.m.

Game 2 – Brownstown vs. South Central, 6:30 p.m.

Game 3 – St. Anthony vs. Windsor, 8 p.m.

Tuesday, January 22

Game 4 – Dieterich vs. Winner Game 1, 6:15 p.m.

Game 5 – Cowden-Herrick vs. St. Elmo, 7:45 p.m.

Wednesday, January 23

Game 6 – Second Lowest Seed Loser from Games 1, 2, 3 vs. the Lowest-Seed Loser from Games 1, 2, 3, 5 p.m.

Game 7 – Altamont vs. Winner Game 2, 6:30 p.m.

Game 8 – Stewardson-Strasburg vs. Winner Game 3, 8 p.m.

Thursday, January 24

Game 9 – Loser Game 4 vs. Loser Game 5, 6:15 p.m.

Game 10 – Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 7:45 p.m.

Friday, January 25

Game 11 – Loser Game 7 vs. Loser Game 8, 6:15 p.m.

Game 12 – Winner Game 7 vs. Winner Game 8, 7:45 p.m.

Saturday, January 26

Game 13 – Highest Seed Loser from Games 1, 2, 3, vs. Winner Game 6, 11:30 a.m. (fifth place)

Game 14 – Winner Game 9 vs. Winner Game 11, 1 p.m. (consolation championship)

Game 15 – Loser Game 10 vs. Loser Game 12, 2:30 p.m. (third place)

Game 16 – Winner Game 10 vs. Winner Game 12, 7:30 p.m. (championship)
