Mattoon, Tri-County, Vandalia Tourney Pairings

In Pool A are Altamont, Mattoon, Decatur St. Teresa and Salem. In Pool B are St. Anthony, Galesburg, Olney and Vandalia.

St. Anthony and Altamont both have two games December 27. The Bulldogs will face Olney at 8:30 a.m. and then take on Vandalia at 6 p.m. Altamont will meet Mattoon at 11:30 a.m. and Salem at 3 p.m.

In December 28 play, Altamont faces Decatur St. Teresa at 8:30 a.m. St. Anthony takes on Galesburg at 10 a.m.

The tourney comes to a close December 29 with the championship game at 4:30 p.m.

Vandalia Boys Tournament

Cumberland and South Central will be competing in the Vandalia Boys Basketball Tournament.

In Pool A are Cumberland (4), Shelbyville (1), Pana (5), Flora (7) and Patoka (10). In Pool B are South Central (6), Meridian (2), Vandalia (3), Father McGivney (8) and Okaw Valley (9).

The tournament begins the day after Christmas, Wednesday, December 26.

South Central faces Meridian at 12:30 p.m. and Vandalia at 8 p.m. Cumberland takes on Pana at 3:30.

In Thursday action, Cumberland meets Patoka at 12:30 and Flora at 6:30. South Central goes up against Okaw Valley at 3:30. South Central then takes on Father McGivney at 12:30 p.m. December 28 and Cumberland faces Shelbyville at 6:30.

The finals are scheduled for December 29 with the title game at 8 p.m.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg is the lone area squad competing in the Tri-County Boys Basketball Tournament. WSS is in Pool B with Chrisman, Hutsonville/Palestine and Westville. Pool A teams are Martinsville, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, Tri-County and Paris.

WSS takes on Chrisman at 7:30 p.m. December 27 then faces Hutsonville/Palestine at 10:30 a.m. December 28 and Westville at 3 p.m.

Finals are scheduled for December 29 with the title contest at 7:30 p.m.
