NBA Expected to Pass Rule Changes

The NBA's board of governors is expected to pass rule changes for the 2018-19 season. Among the changes are resetting the shot clock after an offensive rebound to 14 seconds from 24, simplifying the clear-path foul rule and expanding the definition of the "hostile act" to more easily trigger instant replay.


Celtics' Irving Honored

Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving was honored Thursday by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. Irving took part in a naming ceremony where he was given the Lakota name Little Mountain. Irving's mother was a member of the tribe before getting adopted out when she was a child.
