Teutopolis Junior High School swept Effingham Sacred Heart and Effingham St. Anthony in junior high boys basketball competition Tuesday evening.

T-town B was a 50-9 winner in the seventh-grade contest over Sacred Heart. Probst led T-town with nine points. Sherrod led the Shamrocks with five.

In the eighth-grade contest, T-town B claimed a 34-21 win over Sacred Heart. Ordner, Goedde and Belleville tallied six points each for the winners. J. Bushue led the Shamrocks with nine.

In seventh-grade play against St. Anthony, T-town was a 44-16 winner. Funneman tallied 15. St. Anthony was led by Deters with seven.

In the eighth-grade contest, T-town was a 60-35 winner. B. Mette scored 17 and Belleville 12 for T-town. St. Anthony was led by Tegeler with seven.

At Mulberry Grove

St. Elmo/Brownstown and Mulberry Grove split victories Tuesday evening. Mulberry Grove picked up the seventh-grade win 38-32. Wright led the winners with 17 points. St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by Brown with 15.

In eighth-grade action, St. Elmo/Brownstown won 33-15 with a 20-8 first half run. Feezel tallied 10 for the winners.
