Frosh/Soph Girls Basketball -- Jan. 30

Effingham High School claimed a freshman/sophomore girls basketball win over Charleston Tuesday evening, 34-31.

The Hearts edged out to a 9-7 opening quarter lead but led only 11-10 at halftime. EHS then had a 15-6 third period.

Armstrong led the way with 14 points while Diveley added 11 for EHS.
