NTC Girls Basketball Tourney Pairings Released

The National Trail Conference Girls Basketball Tournament opens play Monday at Beecher City High School.

Altamont drew the No. 1 seed while the No. 2 spot went to North Clay (Louisville). The top two were followed by Effingham St. Anthony, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, Neoga, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Brownstown/St. Elmo, Dieterich and South Central.

The tourney opens Monday with games during the morning and afternoon as school will be out for Martin Lutheran King Jr. Day. The opening game features Dieterich against South Central at 10 a.m. followed by North Clay facing BSE at 11:30, St. Anthony taking on WSS at 1 p.m. and Neoga against CHBC at 2:30.

The tourney continues Wednesday, Thursday and finishes out Saturday with the championshpi game at 7 p.m.
