Effingham High School senior Sidney Webster has committed to playing her college basketball at Greenville College.

Webster is the latest in in a succession of EHS players who have gone on to Greenville. Jantzen Michael and Lauren Stephenson were members of the Greenville team that won a national championship recently.

Sidney said a place where Christian faith is emphasized was a key for her, along with the opportunity to play and a chance to obtain a business degree. She mentioned she might also minor in Theology.

Webster said she will play a swing role on the basketball team, similar to what she played for Effingham.

Sidney is the daughter of Phillip and Shannon Webster.
