National Trail Conference Boys Basketball Pairings Released

The 82nd Annual National Trail Conference Boys Basketball Tournament pairings have been released and Effingham St. Anthony drew the No. 1 seed.

The Bulldogs are followed in the seedings by (2) Altamont, (3) Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, (4) St. Elmo/Brownstown, (5) South Central, (6) Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, (7) Neoga, (8) Dieterich and (9) North Clay (Louisville).

The tournament opens play Monday, January 23 with one game, Dieterich against North Clay at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday's opening round games will find St. Anthony taking on the winner of the Monday contest at 6:15 p.m. followed by St. Elmo/Brownstown against South Central at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday's opening games will find Altamont facing Neoga at 6:15 and Windsor/Stew-Stras against CHBC at 7:30.

The tournament will continue through Saturday with the championship game scheduled Saturday, January 28 at 7:30 p.m.
