LOUISVILLE -- North Clay (Louisville) Junior High School picked up two victories over Iuka Tuesday.

In the seventh-grade contest, North Clay was a 52-23 winner. North Clay held a 21-17 halftime lead then held Iuka scoreless in the third period for a 33-17 lead.

Holden Dawkins led the winners with 10 points. Ten other players contributed points.

In the eighth-grade contest, North Clay pulled out a 44-42 overtime win. Iuka took an 18-4 opening quarter lead and led 21-10 at halftime and 29-21 going into the final quarter. North Clay came to life with an 18-10 run to tie the score at 39-39 sending the game into overtime.

In the overtime session, Ethan Bible nailed a three-pointer and a regular basket for the two-point win. Bible finished with 28 as the lone player for North Clay in double figures.

St. Anthony picked up two sixth-grade A and B basketball victories over Altamont Tuesday.

The Bullpups won the B contest 27-10. In A action, St. Anthony won 39-29.
