"We were kind of sluggish tonight after watching our junior varsity team win in triple overtime," said EHS Coach Jeff Schafer. "The kids were great defensively tonight. We rebounded well and did not give up a three. Miranda and Skyler really picked us up tonight and I thought Sidney and Carsyn were excellent defensively as was Bria and Aly did a great job on Guerin.

"Skyler had her best varsity game for us to date with 10 points and seven rebounds which we needed tonight. That is exactly why we are where we are right now because of our depth. We fought through a real tough shooting night and made it through. We have a big week next week and we have to be ready Monday. Charleston is going to bring it."
