Former Illinois basketball player Jereme Richmond is back in jail. Richmond failed a marijuana test, didn't meet a curfew and didn't attended required domestic violence treatment, which violated the conditions of his probation. Richmond was on probation on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, which he pled guilty to in January.

Prosecutors have asked that Richmond spend the rest of his sentence in jail. He left the University of Illinois after his freshman season, but wasn't drafted by a professional team. He did play for the Premier Basketball League, but quite before a playoff game.

Richmond was arrested last year for punching his ex-girlfriend and threatening the rest of her family with a gun and he was sentenced to 18 months of probation.
