T-town, BCCH Are Victorious

Teutopolis Junior High School played host to Sullivan and claimed two victories over the visitors Monday evening.

T-town won 20-12 in seventh-grade action. Marianna Hemmen tallied eight and Macy Michels seven for the winners who improve to 7-2.

In eighth-grade play, T-town led 27-6 at halftime and went on for a 41-15 victory. Jamie Sandschafer tallied 17 and Raegen Drees 12 for the winners who remain unbeaten at 9-0.

Both T-town teams are back in action Saturday hosting a Shootout. T-town faces Mattoon at 10 a.m. beginning with the seventh-grade game. East St. Louis Lincoln will then take on Mattoon at approximately noon with the seventh-grade first. T-town will then challenge East St. Louis Lincoln at approximately 2:15 p.m. with seventh-grade first.

At Mulberry Grove

Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick defeated Mulberry Grove in seventh-grade play 28-17. Taylor Oldham finished in double figures with 14. Tabitha Endsley added eight. BCCH improves to 2-6.

In eighth-grade action, BCCH won 34-5. Felicia Johnson tallied eight while Sarah Kirchhofer, Skylar Morrison, Emma Wehrle and Hope Barnes scored six each. BCCH evens its record at 4-4.
