The Kiwane Garris 4-Day Basketball Camp will be held Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30 at the Workman Sports Complex.

The event is for ages seven through 16 and is co-ed. The camp begins at 9 a.m. and will run until 3 p.m. each day. Campers should bring shoes, a sweat towel, a water bottle and a sack lunch each day.

Garris is the second leading scorer in University of Illinois basketball history. He played on Team USA , in the NBA and overseas as a professional. His approach to coaching is to have fun but get the work done. Each camper will get one-on-one time with Kiwane and will also be able to get photographs and an autograph.

Camp will consist of individual drills, defensive drills, special pro moves, 3-on-3 competition and 5-on-5 full court play. There will be guest coaches that played either in college or the NBA to help. TJ Hodges will be the co-director and will be coaching each day.

Price is $120 for all week, (after June 21, $135 with no T-shirts/shorts guarantee). To attend camp for one day, cost is $40. Make checks payable to FS Hoops. Forms and payments may be dropped off at the Workman Sports Complex or mailed to TJ Hodges, 2009 Ingemunson Lane, Yorkville, IL 60560.

All campers must have the registration form/waiver signed by a parent/guardian to participate.

For more information or to be a T-shirt sponsor, contact TJ Hodges at 217-417-2677.
