Storm Nabs 16U Team Championship

Members of the the Central Illinois Storm AAU basketball program that participated in the U.S. Junior Nationals Mid-America Challenge in Champaign during the weekend and won the 16U Championship were, front row, left to right, Haley Rose (Sullivan High School), Bria Barr (Effingham High School), Aubrey Barker (Greencastle, Ind. High School)) and Taylor Pepperworth (Terre Haute South High School). Back row, left to right, Coach Brittani Lee, Paige Robinson (Okaw Valley High School), Liz Shipman (Atwood-Hammond High School), Shelby Meyrs (Effingham High School), Chloee Hughes (Marshall High School), Olivia Clausius (Effingham St. Anthony High Svhool) and Coach Krystal Johnson.  Not pictured was Abby Weis (Effingham St. Anthony High School). The team went 5-0 over the weekend against teams from all over the Midwest.
