Effingham St. Anthony picked up a boys freshman/sophomore basketball victory Monday evening at the Enlow Center.
The Bulldogs took control early, taking a 27-3 lead over Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran and put the game away 79-21.
Four players hit double figures for the winners. Colin Koester and Quinton Milleville scored 13 points each while Zach Wortman and Luke Ludwig tallied 10 each.

At Altamont
Altamont played host to Effingham and sent the Hearts home with a 69-60 loss Monday evening.
The Indians edged out to a 22-21 opening quarter lead and had an 18-14 run to lead 40-35 at halftime. Altamont had a 29-25 second half lead.
Stevenson scored a whopping 37 points for the winners while Laatsch chipped in with 13.
Effingham was led by Dylan Bushur with 19 and Cooper Jackson with 12.
