Orange Crush Night has been scheduled Friday, February 19 at Beecher City High School. This will be the last home ballgame of the season and the last basketball game for the Eagles/Hornets.

During the night, funds will be raised for Haley (Miller) Wilhour who is fighting a form of leukemia.

"Haley was a former student at Beecher City High School where she played softball and basketball through the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City program," said CHBC girls basketball coach Carolyn Wendte. "Her family resides in the St. Elmo school district where she has three children in school and one that will be attending school. What a better way than this to bring all the communities together for this fundraiser."

It will be Orange Night February 19. Orange shirts will be sold and shirts may be ordered from Wendte at Beecher City High School through February 15. Shirts cost $10 each. Shirts come in youth sizes medium and large and adult sizes, small, medium, large, extra large, 2X, 3X and 4X. Wear the shirts the night of the boys basketball game and for Haley's Benefit Saturday, February 20 at Altamont Carriage Inn.

Also on February 19 there will be a Spaghetti Supper at Beecher City High School from 4-6 p.m. Cost will be a free will donation.  There also will be a 50/50 drawing. All of the night's proceeds will be going to help Haley and her familiy absorb some of the costs of her treatment.

If there are any questions or to order a T-shirt before February 15, contact Carolyn Wendte at 217-821-6541 or the high school at 618-487-5117 or any CHBC girls basketball player.
