Shoes Fourth in Girls Poll, 10th in Boys Poll

The Teutopolis High School girls basketball team remained in fourth place in the Class 2A Associated Press poll this week.

Coach Laurie Thompson's squad has a 21-6 record and received 96 points. Breese Central remained at the top spot with nine first-place votes and a 23-4 record. Piasa Southwestern is still at second and Knoxville at third.

In the boys polls, T-town dropped from a tie in ninth place to 10th place. The Shoes sport a 19-5 record and received 31 points in Class 2A.

In the Class 1A poll, Altamont is in the others receiving votes category with one vote.
