Tournament Field Set for Effingham-Teutopolis Christmas Classic

The field is set for the 2015 Effingham/Teutopolis Christmas Classic.

The event is set for Monday and Tuesday, December 28 and 29, at both Effingham High School and at J.H. Griffin Gym in Teutopolis.

The first day schedule is also in place, as follows:

MONDAY, DECEMBER 28--

Games at Effingham High School:

9am--Mattoon vs. Teutopolis

10:30am--Effingham vs. Jerseyville

12 Noon--Charleston vs. Chicago Marshall

1:30pm--Oak Lawn vs. Mattoon

3pm--Jerseyville vs. Brooks

Games at Teutopolis:

3:30pm--Lincoln-Way West vs. Charleston

5pm--Teutopolis vs. Oak Lawn

6:30pm--Brooks vs. Effingham

8pm--Chicago Marshall vs. Lincoln-Way West

The Chicago Marshall Commandos replace Chicago Al Raby, who have withdrawn from the tournament. Also new to the field this year is Lincoln-Way West, Jerseyville, Chicago Brooks and Oak Lawn.

The tournament is a pool play affair. Teutopolis, Mattoon and Oak Lawn are in one pool, Effingham, Brooks and Jerseyville are a second pool, and Charleston, Chicago Marshall and Lincoln-Way West are in the third pool.
