Brownstown Beats Sacred Heart; Stew-Stras Drops Two

Brownstown picked up two victories over Effingham Sacred Heart in junior high girls basketball action Monday.

Brownstown won the seventh-grade contest 27-14. Deana Shelton led the winners with 12 points. Mills and Shamhart led the Shamrocks with four each.

In the eighth-grade game, Brownstown won 33-17. Brown led the winners with 14. S. Webster led Sacred Heart with 11.

At Strasburg

Pana came calling and captured two wins over Stewardson-Strasburg.

Pana won the seventh-grade game 24-22. Funneman tallied 18 for the winners. M. Schlechte scored 10 for Stew-Stras.

In eighth-grade action, Pana was a 50-22 winner. Dudra scored 17 for Pana. B. Schlecte had 11 for Stew-Stras.
