SULLIVAN -- Effingham St. Anthony downed Sullivan in both junior high boys basketball games Monday evening.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade contest 38-9 with a 24-6 first half run. Antrim tallied 11 for the winners while Schuette added eight. St. Anthony improves to 6-0.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony ran off a 35-9 halftime score and tallied a 48-14 win over Sullivan.
Dust scored 16 and Webb 12 for the Bullpups.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis picked up a 46-13 win over Dieterich in seventh-grade competition Monday.
T-town held Dieterich scoreless in the first quarter for a 14-0 lead and led 28-4 at halftime. The Shoes had 13 players in the scoring column with Addis and M. Deters garnering six each.
Dieterich was led by Will and Kuhl with six each.
In the eighth-grade game, T-town trounced Dieterich 63-13. The Shoes stepped out to a 40-5 halftime lead. Hardiek led the Shoes with 11 while Ungrund added 10.

Stewardson-Strasburg split victories with Windsor. Stew-Stras (2-4) won the seventh-grade game 46-31.
Wernsing led the way with 17 points while Kinkelaar had 14 and Vonderheide 12. Wheeler led Windsor with 12.
In the eighth-grade game, Windsor was a 43-40 winner. Domzalski tallied 14 and Howard 11 for the winners.
Stew-Stras (1-5) was led by Jesgarz with 15 and Kirby with 11.

Newton St. Thomas and Martinsville split wins Monday evening.
Martinsville claimed the seventh-grade game 39-21. St. Thomas led 12-8 after the opening quarter but Martinsville took a 19-16 halftime lead then had a 20-5 second half run. St. Thomas was led by Schafer with nine.
In the eighth-grade game, St. Thomas captured a 58-27 win. St. Thomas led 36-16 at halftime and never looked back. Weber scored 22 and Ochs 19 for the winners.

St. Elmo/Brownstown and North Clay (Louisville) split victories Monday evening.
SEB took the seventh-grade contest 37-15. SEB edged out to a 7-4 opening quarter lead then, behind the 10-point scoring of Rosborough, pushed ahead 18-6. Rosborough finished with 14 points for the winners.
In the eighth-grade game, North Clay took a 45-33 victory. North Clay held a 21-12 hafltime lead and had a 17-8 third quarter run. Tyson Jones scored 24 for the winners.
SEB was led by Gadsborough with 14 and Pruett with 11.
