Junior High School Boys Basketball -- Oct. 3

SULLIVAN -- Stewardson-Strasburg split victories with Sullivan in boys junior high school basketball action Tuesday evening.

Sullivan won the seventh-grade contest 28-23. In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras won 31-27. The games were the season openers for Stew-Stras.

At Mattoon

Teutopolis picked up a 49-16 win over Mattoon St. John's in B competition Tuesday.

T-town stepped out to a 15-3 opening quarter lead and never looked back. Tabbert tallied 13 for the winners while Probst added eight.
