SIGEL -- Sigel St. Michael played host to Effingham and picked up two victories Monday evening.

The Sharpshooters edged Effingham 23-22 in seventh-grade action. Niebrugge tallied 12 for the winners.  Divley scored 10 for Effingham.

In eighth-grade play, St. Michael claimed a 31-20 victory. McWhorter scored 19 for the winners. Krouse led the Mustangs with 10.

At Sigel

At St. Anthony

Altamont downed St. Anthony twice. Altamont won the seventh-grade encounter 27-7.

Leading the winners was Runge with 12 points. St. Anthony was led by McDevitt with three.

In eighth-grade play, Altamont won 20-12. Guse had 10 for Altamont while Coffin led St. Anthony with six.

Pana defeated Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor twice. Pana won the seventh-grade contest 23-19.

SSW was led by Schlechte with 10 points.

In the eighth-grade game, Pana claimed a 28-10 victory. Davis led SSW with seven points.
