University of Illinois Basketball Team Dealt Another Blow

The University of Illinois basketball team was deal another big blow. They were expecting to get senior point guard Tracy Abrams back in the lineup this year after he missed all last year due to injury.

News is now he will miss all of this year after tearing his left Achilles tendon at practice. Abrams was recovering from a knee injury during a red-shirt year. Now he will have to decide and then request medical red-shirt to get back another year of eligibility.

The last year Abrams did play, he started all 35 games for the Illini.
